Interface Inc. is a major player in the carpet manufacturing industry and specializes in modular carpet.  They are known for Interface FLOR which has made huge inroads into the residential market, letting the average consumer clean or replace a single tile that has gotten spilled or soiled rather than the entire room.  Founder and Chairman Ray C. Anderson has led the company toward sustainability after reading Paul Hawken’s The Ecology of Commerce and has even written his own book, Mid-Course Correction: Toward a Sustainable Enterprise: The Interface Model.
